Full description of the position

The Business Development Executive is responsible for generating, managing, and closing leads and sales within the hospitality and retail back-office space through direct and indirect reach out. The BDE will cultivate and manage leads throughout the sales process and then continue to foster those relationships when they become accounts. Responsibilities * Manage and close sophisticated sales-cycles using solution selling techniques * Execute prospecting and account development plans within Ideal Client Profile (ICP) * Demonstrate thorough knowledge of industry and business challenges coupled with Evention software capabilities and value proposition * Present to Director, VP, CFO level leaders * Develop relationships through calls, emails, meetings, and digital sales campaigns * Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals (new ARR) * Adapt to new technology and encompass high-level organization skills * Perform outstanding verbal and written communication skills * New logo prospecting * Account management * Attend conferences applicable to verticals Salary: $70,000-85,000/yr * Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience; preferred degree fields include business, sales, marketing, accounting, hospitality & retail * Prior experience working with Salesforce (preferred) * Prior experience working in a SaaS Sales Environment (preferred) * Prior experience working in Hospitality or Retail Space (preferred) * Problem solving skills At Evention, our core values guide everything we do.
