Full description of the position

Description: You possess a unique blend of hunting and farming skills and demonstrate a capability for generating revenue for Lighthouse Immersive Groups & Events by employing sales techniques, proactively seeking out new leads, and retaining existing accounts. To excel in this role, you must have a proven track record of driving new sales growth, expertise in aggressive cold calling output, exceptional client relationship management abilities, strong multitasking skills, and an unwavering determination to achieve goals. This position will be equally split requiring you to work both on property and be outbound a designated number of days on sales activity reporting to the director of global partnerships and the local venue general manager. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in generating revenue through strategic outreach, business development, and high-value partnerships. Success in this role requires proven sales expertise, aggressive lead generation, and strong relationship management skills. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Engage in proactive lead generating activities, outside sales calls, telemarketing, mailings, referrals, networking, etc. with a set minimum of 3 work days weekly off site the venue location - Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by leveraging Las Vegas' robust tourism and corporate event sectors. * Develop and implement a local and outbound sales strategy, with a focus on identifying high-potential target customer segments and industry partners including the chamber of commerce and The LVCVA. - Develop and execute a strategic sales plan, targeting corporate groups, convention organizers, luxury hospitality brands, and international tour operators. * Manage the full cycle of the sales process by conducting prospecting, making calls, and setting appointments and conducting site tours - Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to contract negotiations and event execution. * Track and report progress on daily, weekly, and monthly outbound prospecting and sales goals in our CRM - Track and report sales performance using CRM software, analyzing revenue trends and identifying growth opportunities. * Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers within the Corporate market and across other key market segments - Work closely with F&B partners, venue managers, and experience designers to craft exclusive event offerings. * Join and/or hold board or committee positions within multiple community or professional organizations - Engage with key industry associations, including the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), Chamber of Commerce, and hospitality networks. * Reinforce the existing client base with regular office visits and on-property lunch appointments, and host multiple networking events annually to build brand awareness - Maintain an active presence at least three days per week in off-site meetings, client pitches, and sales activities. * Engage closely with the venue management team and research, analyze, and develop special event profit-generating opportunities - Build and manage relationships with corporate event planners, high-net-worth clientele, concierge services, and VIP experience providers. * Manage and direct all organization-related event logistics, including managing the events calendar, conducting walk-throughs and visits, and being the primary contact for clients - Oversee all event logistics, coordinating site tours, calendar management, and collaboration with venue management team. * Prepare and provide required reports, including special event revenue reports, profit and loss statements, sales recaps, and projections. * Learn, understand, and utilize sales systems and CRM daily, and develop an overall group sales outreach plan while coordinating invoices, payments, and budget tracking. * Assist in the creation of new group programs and events that increase sales opportunities and overall group tickets/revenue - Develop customized group programs and experiential event packages to increase group sales. * Collaborate with local businesses, schools, churches, corporations, tour, and travel operators, and manage and fulfill any daily partner requests -Partner with third-party providers including our F&B partners - Partner with Las Vegas- based luxury concierge services and VIP experience teams to maximize high- value ticket sales and exclusive event offerings. * Provide superior customer service to clients and prospects while developing and maintaining strong working relationships with Lighthouse Immersive Experiences * Represent Lighthouse Immersive at major trade shows, sales missions, and networking events. * Organize key trade shows, sales missions, and additional events in respective markets and attend networking events, industry meetings, and sales missions as necessary * Be available to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary, and fulfill any other duties as assigned - Host annual networking events to foster industry relationships and boost brand awareness. * Stay ahead of Las Vegas market trends, adjusting strategies to capitalize on new opportunities. * Develop branded partnerships and sponsorship opportunities with high-profile Las Vegas brands. Requirements: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must be able to sit for long periods of time * Extensive walking * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking * Lifting Capability QUALIFICATIONS: * 5+ years of related event sales experience consistent event sales success, with the majority of annual quota ($1M+) coming from new business. - 5+ years of event sales, business development, or hospitality industry experience. -Familiarity with key event planning associations including MPI, PCMA, ASAE, and ILEA - Proven success generating $1M+ in annual sales, with a strong focus on new business acquisition. -Outgoing and personable with excellent verbal and written communication skills - Established network within the Las Vegas entertainment, tourism, and corporate event industry. * Ability to travel within the community or out of state weekly; flexibility for trade shows or conferences - Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. -Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel, Word, Microsoft Office, and CRM applications - Experience with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and event management software. -High personal standards of conduct and professionalism - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. -Well-developed presentation and negotiation skills Goal and customer-oriented - Strong financial planning and budgeting experience. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience and/or training - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred. * Expertise in financial analysis and planning, budgeting, and marketing * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Finger on the pulse to changing market trends and conditions.
