Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process for residential properties, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective tenants. This role requires strong communication skills, great customer service skills, organizational skills, computer literacy skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of and experience in property management practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property showings and tours for prospective tenants.
• Responsible for advertising on social media platforms, [please apply online] etc.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of lease agreements and contracts.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and other relevant documentation.
• Perform data entry tasks related to tenant information and property management systems.
• Coordinate with property maintenance teams to address tenant concerns and ensure properties are well-maintained.
• Manage office files and documentation related to leasing activities.
• Stay informed about local housing regulations, including LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and Section 8 guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants. Skills
• Proficiency in property management software is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of property maintenance processes and facilities management.
• Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to leasing agreements.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail in data entry and record keeping.
