Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process for residential properties, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective tenants. This role requires strong communication skills, great customer service skills, organizational skills, computer literacy skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of and experience in property management practices. Responsibilities * Conduct property showings and tours for prospective tenants. * Responsible for advertising on social media platforms, [please apply online] etc. * Assist in the preparation and execution of lease agreements and contracts. * Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and other relevant documentation. * Perform data entry tasks related to tenant information and property management systems. * Coordinate with property maintenance teams to address tenant concerns and ensure properties are well-maintained. * Manage office files and documentation related to leasing activities. * Stay informed about local housing regulations, including LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and Section 8 guidelines. * Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants. Skills * Proficiency in property management software is preferred. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. * Knowledge of property maintenance processes and facilities management. * Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to leasing agreements. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Attention to detail in data entry and record keeping. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
