I am working with a 60+-year-old private company to help them gradually expand their customer base with a new sales position. This is a great opportunity for you if you enjoy meeting new people and building long term relationships. You will get to be the master of your territory turning it into your personal bank account. As a Territory industrial equipment sales manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of business customers. This position will come with a data base of existing/potential customers to call on. This is a concentrated position that requires developing an understanding of our industry; previous industrial equipment sales experience preferred. Product training and field-training will be provided to give you the company and product specific knowledge you will need. To be the successful candidate, you must be willing and able to develop a strong knowledge of your territory and your customer base and possibly bring an existing base, be able to develop a solid territory business plan, and be able to effectively cover your territory on a daily basis. You must be an expert at soliciting new business and developing and maintaining relationships with potential customers. Only apply if you are a go getter and enjoy calling on customers daily. [please apply online] REQUIREMENTS * Minimum of 5-years successful outside sales experience, industrial equipment sales preferred. * Strong mechanical aptitude. * Willingness and ability to travel 70%+ of the time, mostly day trips. * Willingness and ability to work with all levels of accounts * Familiar with bid process, quoting while maintaining healthy margins, writing sales orders. * Good attitude and sales/interpersonal skills * Valid driver's license required * Work from home office with required in persons at Plano Office * MUST be willing to use CRM * Must live in the Lubbock metro area * This is the first remote position for my client so you will need to set a high bar SKILLS * Strong sales acumen and communicator, preferably with experience in industrial equipment sales, rental experience considered for the right candidate. * Ability to work independently, self motivated and driven. * Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. * Effective time management, positive attitude, team player, hands on self learner. * High energy * Growth oriented * Problem solver * Strong closing skills * Hungry! * Sales driver (meaning you drive the sale and don't wait on the customer to drive the sale) * CDL will be required but can be acquired after being employed * Attitude is everything!
