Overview

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales associate to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, be proficient in cash handling, and have a passion for delivering outstanding service in a grocery store environment.

Duties

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases.
• Upsell products and promotions to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a welcoming environment for customers.
• Clean daily all counters, equipment, and shelves
• Merchandise beverage bar, fresh foods, center of store, and cooler vault.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales and customer service, preferably in a grocery store setting
• Strong cash handling skills and proficiency with cash registers and POS systems

• Basic math skills for accurate transactions and inventory management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and assist with stocking and merchandising tasks Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Shift:
