Job Summary Clare Auto Auctions is looking for passionate, self - motivated professional to join our team. We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time sales representative from the Mt Pleasant to Lansing area, for our dealers only auto auction. We are the last standing independent auction in Michigan - A fast paced, family-oriented business. We are looking for a Sales Representative work to find dealerships that can use our auction platform to buy and sell vehicles, as well as maintain current dealer relationships, from the mount pleasant area to the Lansing area. This position will require in person visits to multiple dealerships over the road, and require in person for our Thursday Auction. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain relationships with auto dealers, finance companies, and other vehicle sources. * Manage your territory to drive growth in vehicle consignment from current and potential accounts * Have confidence in your ability to be successful. Be self-motivated. * Possess a great attitude with a hard work ethic and ability to manage time wisely as well as multi-task in a fast-paced process driven work environment * Have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers whether it is by phone, email or in person. * Devoted to ensuring timely follow up and maintain strong relationships with previous and prospective customers. * Rep vehicles on the Block during sale day, and know what the dealers are looking to get out of the vehicles they are running. * Handle post sale counter offers between other reps and dealers * Foster long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business. * Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive sector. * Position requires demonstrated communication, self-discipline, time management, and problem-solving skills. * Manage auction day and be highly involved with the auction process. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
