Calling all PTA's, COTA's, and RN's! Preferred Home Healthcare is searching for a healthcare professional with experience or interest in business development and sales. The ideal candidate for this position has experience in home healthcare and can enthusiastically communicate the value of our services to Physicians, Nurses, Case Managers, Discharge Planners, SNF Therapists and other referral sources. The goal of this position is to build relationships with referral sources in the community and obtain referrals for home healthcare.

Responsibilities

The Home Health Specialist will:

• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare marketing plans and facilitate community education within assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with the clinical staff to ensure smooth patient transitions to the agency
• Participates in external marketing, including building relationships with referral sources, supporting marketing functions sponsored by the communities to engage in community networking, conducting physician visits, and meeting with discharge planners as needed. Required Experience/Skills:
• Must have an Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in a healthcare related field.
• Excellent selling, organization, problem-solving skills and the ability to appropriately represent the Company service capabilities to the targeted referral source audience is required.
• Ability to travel within assigned territory and to sales meetings as required.
