Walton Beverage is looking for a Sales Representative. We are looking for a candidate that is self-motivated and goal oriented. It is important to have the ability to work unsupervised and relate well at all times to consumers, customers and co-workers. Must have excellent communication skills, ability to organize and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency, and handle multiple functions, with an overall attention to detail and accuracy. The successful applicants will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities: * 1-2 years minimum sales and customer service experience, and knowledge of beverage industry * Basic computer operating skills to include handheld devices * Demonstrate good math skills, have legible handwriting, read, converse and be understood in the English language * Active listening, critical thinking, understanding of the craft beer culture, good judgment and decision making skills * Ability to perform physical activities required by the job duties, including occasional lifting and moving up to 60 pounds individually and greater weights with assistance; ability to bend, stoop, climb, and perform other physical acts associated with selling, demonstrating, and marketing product in an assigned territory * Cultivate strong relationships with key customers. * Use fact based selling skills to deliver exceptional customer service along with, creativity and entrepreneurial mindset to grow volume and revenue to achieve profitability goals * Perform at a fast pace, with self-motivation, using organizational and time management abilities, along with the ability to take initiative and act independently * Be flexible - you may at times need to work various schedules, including early mornings, evenings. * A good driving record is required. A motor vehicle report will be requested from the DMV. This position is a Monday - Friday. Wage is subject to experience in trade.
