Job description Champion Promotion, a leader in custom branded products in the Mid-South for over fifty (50) years, is seeking a full-time outside account representative to support the ongoing growth of the Company, with a focus on Schools in Memphis Metro area in the following business lines: Screen Printing, Embroidered Products, Promotional Products and Custom Awards. Pay Structure Salary structure is a base salary of $50,000 with a commission structure in place starting on day one. Commissions will be earned monthly based on each month's gross sales dollars. Travel requirements are required when building your initial book of business. You will be expected to make 5-10 visits each day to schools in the Memphis Metro area. You must have reliable transportation. A vehicle stipend will be provided. Job Summary At Champion, our Sales Representatives are the direct point of contact with a customer and in charge of ensuring a customer's needs and expectations are met from start to finish. Sales representatives must know their products inside and out. This knowledge is critical in guiding customers through the purchase process efficiently and satisfactorily. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Develop, build, and manage a diverse mix of accounts. * Create and follow daily customer solicitation lists. * Prospect new clients via sales calls, sales visits, email and networking events * Provide feedback to management of solicitation outcomes. * Oversee the sales process at each stage from quote through completion. * Quote pricing and credit terms, within the company's guidelines, and prepare sales agreements for orders obtained. * Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules. * Solves customer problems and complaints that are routine and refers more complex sales and technical problems to company management. * Reviews trade literature for new developments and products in the field. * Training and development support available, via senior management, production management, and senior account reps. Job Requirements * 2+ years of Outside Sales Experience * Familiarity with Microsoft applications(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Ability to work independently to meet Monthly/Annual sales goals * Great organizational skills * Good Time Management Skills * Superior Interpersonal Skills and a Commitment to Customer Service * Active participant in giving and receiving constructive feedback * Ability to develop and maintain Key Client Relationships * Social Media knowledge, specifically LinkedIn.
