With a dedicated fleet of dry van trucks and a robust logistics network, we provide reliable, capacity-driven solutions to shippers nationwide. We are currently expanding our asset division and seeking a results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to help us grow our direct customer base. Position Overview The Inside Sales Representative will focus on high-volume outbound prospecting to secure appointments with qualified freight shippers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and takes pride in building strong relationships from the ground up. You will be targeting mid-sized and enterprise-level shippers, promoting our asset-based trucking services , and collaborating closely with our sales and operations teams to convert leads into long-term customers. Key Responsibilities * Make 150+ outbound sales calls per day to prospective shippers * Set and confirm appointments with qualified freight decision-makers * Identify customer pain points, shipping needs, and lane volume * Accurately record all activity, outcomes, and follow-ups in CRM * Collaborate with operations and outside sales teams for handoff and execution * Conduct research via LinkedIn, DOT registry, and online databases to develop leads * Report daily metrics and contribute to team performance goals Performance Metrics * 150+ outbound calls per day * 5+ qualified appointments booked per week * 100% CRM data entry accuracy * Response time within 24 hours for all follow-ups * Top performers average 20+ closed deals per month Qualifications * 1-3 years of outbound sales experience (preferred in transportation or logistics) * Strong phone presence and confidence engaging with senior-level stakeholders * Familiarity with freight terms (e.g., drop, live load, detention) * Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or McLeod * Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, LinkedIn Sales Navigator * Resilient and self-motivated with a strong desire to exceed targets Why Join Celeritas Freight Solutions? * Sell a real asset -- our trucks, not just brokerage capacity * Competitive compensation package with base + uncapped commission * Supportive, high-performance team culture * Advancement opportunities in a growing division * Modern tools and industry-leading tech stack Work Schedule: This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Chicago, IL 60632 headquarters.
