Job Title - Energy Sales Representative JOIN OUR ENERGETIC SALES TEAM! The Role: NRG Energy Sales Agent * Location : Greater Rockford Area * Sell and enroll customers on behalf of NRG Energy and their electricity and gas supply services. * Engage customers at kiosks inside Walmart Stores, Forman Mills, Grocery, Movie Theaters and other big-box retail stores. * Participate on behalf of our clients at large and small local events in and around the Chicagoland area. * NOT a door-to-door, cold calling, or Multi-level Marketing Operation Perks & Benefits: * Work in dynamic environments (say goodbye to the boring desk job). * Flexible schedules with day, evening, and weekend shifts. * Autonomy in your role, working 30-35 hours per week. * Attractive starting hourly rate of $15.00. * Generous hourly rate plus commissions beyond the "Rookie" phase, with potential earnings of $30-$50 per hour. * Comprehensive medical, dental, and 401K benefits available. * Paid sick time. * Weekly pay. * Growth opportunities to be a Mentor, Sales Lead, or promote to a Management role. Qualifications * High school diploma or GED * Strong negotiation and customer service skills * Previous experience in sales, particularly in B2C environments * Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with customers * Experience in using technology for sales purposes * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to stand for extended periods. * Clear background checks and drug screening (Marijuana excluded).
