POSITION OVERVIEW A Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting shoppers in finding the right products for their needs. Engaging personality, product knowledge, and sales skills will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and achieving store targets. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: * Achieve and exceed sales goals by using outstanding selling techniques, clienteling, sourcing new customers and building strong relationships with existing customers * Represent Missoni as an Ambassador of the brand: Exhibit pride, passion, and affinity for the Brand through a positive attitude, body language and personal presentation * Welcome, smile and approach customers displaying a cordial attitude, friendly manner, and willingness to serve * Answer customer's questions and solve their needs providing /delivering excellent service * Handle customers' requests, ensuring issues are resolved in time and guaranteeing a high level of customer satisfaction * Possess excellent product knowledge and the ability to style customers * Establish and nurture a long-term relationship with customers based on trust, caring and empathy * Work within established guidelines, procedures, policies, and standards of the Company * Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards daily, ensuring that all the products are properly displayed * Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be at least 21 years of age. * High school diploma or equivalent (some college education preferred) * Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus * Previous styling experience in luxury goods * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively * Enthusiastic and friendly personality with a customer-centric approach * Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and handling cash * Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends * Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Mobility to maneuver the sales floor and stock room to provide and support customer service. Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds and at times lift and carry product/cartons up to 50 pounds. Reach above/bend to obtain product for customers from store fixtures/shelves at various heights and climb ladders/stairs/stepstools to perform visual merchandising and housekeeping duties. PAY TRANSPARENCY Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill set, considering a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and abilities. SALARY The projected hourly rate for a Sales Associate is $16 to $18 per hour. Additional compensation such as commission and benefits will also be included.
