GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Retail Sales Representative is responsible for providing customer service, sales assistance, and general operations of the retail store. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide quality customer service, including assistance with purchases, suggestive selling, and product information. * Assist customers by maintaining knowledge of store products and pricing. * Operate the sales machine and the cash register accurately, and return appropriate change as needed. * Always maintain a neat and orderly store to include dusting and vacuuming. * Prepare and maintain product displays on the retail sales floor as requested. * Report any theft or suspected theft by customers or employees to management immediately. * Provide support in other areas of business operations as requested. ADDITIONAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS: * Good oral communication skills, as well as written and reading. * Customer Service oriented and excels in customer relations. * Demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail. * Time management skills. * Available to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed. EDUCATION: * High School Diploma of equivalent. * Languages: English and Spanish languages preferable, verbal and written. EXPERIENCE: * Experience preferred, not mandatory, training available. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS: * The job requires standing and walking for extended periods. * The ability to perform simple tasks, rational thinking, and numerical calculations is required. * This job requires rearranging the furniture on the sales floor.
