PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Inside Sales Team Member is responsible for delivering exceptional sales, service, and product knowledge to customers while seeking new opportunities to grow business within assigned areas. This role involves managing customer accounts, processing orders. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : * Accurately input, update and maintain orders in various systems * Answer customer inquiries via incoming phone calls. * Assist in various aspects of customer service such as providing information on products, transferring phone calls, locating orders, and resolving customer issues. * Review and verify accuracy of orders entered, correct errors when necessary, and communicate to appropriate teams when necessary * Support sales representatives with customer service needs, including price quotes, order entry, special orders, donations, and product returns for credit. * Verify daily orders using check-off lists, contact customers about missing orders, and notify Sales. QUALIFICATIONS: * Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, email requests, and price sheets. * Proficient and precise in 10-key data entry (90% of the time). * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, discretion, and decision-making abilities * Confidently communicates with customers and employees. * Organized, detail-oriented, and goal-focused. * Effectively manages time, maximizes efficiency, and meets challenging goals. * Adapts to new responsibilities as needed and manages priorities with minimal supervision. * Proficient with basic PC operations, including Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, email, web applications, and database software. * Self-motivated and works effectively both independently and as part of a team. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE : * High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of experience. * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software as required. Flexibility to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules based on business needs.
