We are seeking a talented individual with a passion for hospitality to serve as our sales manager and oversee front office operations. This person should have prior hotel experience and possess excellent organizational skills, a dedication to interpersonal communications and the ability to balance guest needs, outside sales and business tracking.

Essential Duties

• Understand sales efforts within the market to drive both Occupancy and ADR.
• Actively identify, qualify and solicit new and existing accounts that have a real business need for lodging and meet the overall profitability requirements for the property.
• Effectively utilize all sources of industry and competitive intelligence to uncover business opportunities and market trends for the required segment.
• Conduct direct sales calls, telemarketing activities, local market blitzes and hotel tours.
• Effectively execute and maintain all front desk operations.
• Motivate team to drive revenue, control costs and protect assets of the hotel.
• Train and develop team.
• Create a dynamic and learning environment for all team members. One that everyone has input and grows in their position.
• Interact with guests, solicit feedback and build relationships. Effectively respond to guests regarding service challenges.
• Elevate the guest experience; teach, train and brainstorm with staff.
• Understand and assist General Manager with basic accounts payable/accounts receivable functions. Hotel experience is required; salary is based on experience.
