Position: Head of Sales & Marketing Location: Springfield, MO Travel Required: Yes - Nationwide

About the Role

: Springfield Trading Co., a nationally recognized and rapidly growing hot sauce and seasoning brand, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales & Marketing to lead our expansion into new markets and scale our presence across retail and foodservice channels. We're looking for a true CPG hot shot --someone who knows how to close deals, navigate national distribution, and build powerhouse retail partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Develop and execute national sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth across CPG, retail, and foodservice channels
• Manage and grow relationships with food brokers, wholesalers, and distributors across the country
• Secure new placements in major retail chains, grocery stores, restaurants, and specialty markets
• Collaborate with marketing to build effective brand awareness campaigns and retail promotions
• Negotiate contracts, manage key accounts, and oversee the sales pipeline from prospect to placement
• Travel regularly to meet with partners, attend trade shows, and manage in-person account relationships

Requirements

:

• Proven track record in CPG sales--preferably in food, beverage, or spice/seasoning categories
• Deep experience working with food brokers and national distributors
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and leadership skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Willingness to travel regularly to support business growth
• Experience scaling brands from regional to national is a strong plus
