Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate at Ivy & Leo Boutique to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for sales and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every customer has a positive shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, assisting them in finding the right products, and driving sales through effective upselling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash handling and credit card transactions.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise and arranging displays.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members as needed to ensure smooth operations. Experience
• Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail math to assist with cash register duties.
• Proven ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
