Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Lot Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our dealership lot while providing exceptional service to our customers. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and park vehicles on the dealership lot, ensuring proper handling of both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Assist customers with vehicle retrieval and provide information about vehicle features as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the lot by regularly washing and detailing vehicles, removing debris, and ensuring a tidy appearance.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good condition for display or delivery.
• Support sales staff by moving vehicles to designated areas for customer test drives or showings.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding vehicle status and any customer inquiries.
• Willingness to learn and to perform a wide range of allocated tasks.
• Driving off-site to run dealership errands when required. Experience
• Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as effective communication with diverse clientele is essential.
• A background in hospitality or customer service can be beneficial for enhancing the customer experience.
• Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, is required.
