Full description of the position

Bring the energy. Build the community. Sundale Senior Living in Huntsville, TX is hiring a high-performing Sales & Marketing Director to help grow our assisted living Community. You'll lead outreach, tours, relationship building, and event hosting - all while making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families. Responsibilities: * Drive all sales and move-in activity to meet monthly occupancy goals * Cultivate relationships with referral partners (hospitals, rehab, case managers, etc.) * Plan and host tours, community events, and open houses * Perform local outreach (drop-ins, home visits, sponsorships) * Track prospects and leads using our CRM * Report results to Executive Director and join twice-weekly sales strategy calls * Be a bold, creative, and self-starting marketing engine Requirements: * Proven experience in senior living sales * Strong track record of closing sales and driving occupancy * CRM proficiency (industry-specific platforms preferred) * Confident communicator with excellent follow-up habits * Able to work some evenings/weekends for events or tours * Passion for seniors and a competitive, team-focused attitude Compensation & Benefits: * $45,000 base + up to $25,000 annual bonus * Dental, vision, PTO, life insurance * Career growth with a respected, growing company We 're hiring fast - apply today and help us become the top choice for assisted living in Huntsville! Ask engaging questions to uncover their needs and offer a low-pressure invitation for a tour. B. Thank them and let them know to call when ready. * When you miss your monthly move-in goal, how do you respond? A. I evaluate the pipeline, outreach activity, and event strategy, then adjust and double down. B. I usually wait for the next month -- sales can be seasonal. * What is your comfort level with hosting events for prospects and the local community? A. I regularly plan and lead open houses, networking events, or educational sessions. B. I prefer others to plan events; I focus more on 1:1 tours and calls. * Which approach best reflects your sales mindset? A. Proactive: I create a weekly plan for outreach, visits, and calls with urgency. B. Reactive: I follow up with leads and wait for new inquiries to come in. * How would you handle a situation where a hospital discharge planner says they "already refer to another community"? A. I'd stay professional, share what makes us unique, and follow up consistently over time. B. I'd thank them and move on to other sources. * How would you rate your written communication skills (e.g., emails to families, follow-up letters)? A. Strong - I can write persuasive, clear, and warm communication. B.
