Full description of the position
Summary In the role of Sales and Marketing Director, you will lead the marketing and sales initiatives to enhance community engagement and drive occupancy rates. Reporting to the executive leadership team, you will leverage your core skills in negotiation, business development, and leadership to build strong relationships with potential residents and their families. Your expertise in social media management and marketing will be essential in promoting our services. Additionally, your premium skills in outside sales and account management will ensure the successful execution of strategic sales plans, contributing to the overall growth of the organization. Qualifications -Educational background or demonstrated experience in marketing and sales in a senior living environment. -Must be flexible and able to work some weekend hours. -Must be a creative thinker, effective writer, professional, tactful, outgoing, and presentable. -Must have thorough knowledge of the institution's operation, policies, and physical layout. -Must have knowledge of the use of CRM, social media and sales and marketing platforms. Responsibilities 1. Achieve goal of full occupancy 2. Maintain CRM (Customer Relationship Management) on online platform. 3. Conduct tours of building and available apartments to prospective residents, family members, homecare agencies and other referral sources. 4. Respond to phone calls and email inquiries as quickly as possible with necessary follow-up and maintain ongoing phone and email contact. 5. Maintain relationships with prospective residents and families, negotiating and closing deals. 6. Coordinate timing and practicality of move-ins. 7. Coordinate assessments with the nurse for acceptability, as part of the application process. 8. Travel to outside meetings and events for purposes of networking, bolstering community presence and education. 9. Plan and host networking and community events for referral sources, colleagues, and prospective residents and family members. 10. Develop and implement marketing and sales plans. 11. Create and publish email blasts, social media posts, and website upcoming events.
