A Leasing Specialist is responsible for coordinating the community's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals by performing all activities related to leasing to new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease, and securing resident lease renewals. Description Leasing Superstar Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Leasing Superstar to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a strong sales background, and a passion for connecting with people. The Leasing Superstar will be responsible for effectively marketing and leasing apartments, conducting sales presentations, qualifying prospects, and closing deals. Key Responsibilities: * Demonstrate strong sales skills to generate leads, conduct presentations, and close deals * Utilize property management software, such as Entrata, and other spreadsheet programs to complete necessary reports and documents * Use internet marketing tools, including Craigslist, Social Media, Google, and other search engines, to promote properties and attract potential tenants * Plan and attend marketing events, such as housing fairs, open houses, and orientation, to showcase properties and attract new tenants * Provide feedback and ideas to improve marketing strategies and timelines * Collaborate with property manager to execute monthly marketing plans and monitor effectiveness of marketing mediums * Complete market surveys, university profiles, and housing cost analysis as needed Qualifications: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong sales background with a proven track record of success * Proficiency in property management software and spreadsheet programs * Ability to connect with people and engage them throughout the sales process * Strong mathematical skills for financial reporting and budgeting * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Prior experience in apartment leasing or property management is preferred If you are a talented sales professional with a passion for connecting with people and driving results, we want to hear from you.
