ABOUT A-Line Greetings Established in 1985, A-Line Greetings is a leading value-priced manufacturer of greeting cards and related accessories. We sell our own branded products to a variety of retailers throughout the United States and Canada, including supermarkets, pharmacies, variety stores and dollar stores. JOB LOCATION(S): Philadelphia, PA including servicing stores in Delaware and Lehigh Valley areas A-Line Greetings is seeking a reliable, self-motivated, high energy Account Manager to join our team. JOB DESCRIPTION The Account Manager serves as the primary contact between A-Line management and store owners. In this role, the Account Manager is responsible for building customer relationships while increasing business by selling and ordering products for a defined customer base within an assigned territory. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Educate and excite customers about our greeting card programs * Analyze customer needs and business trends to help grow both their profitability and our own business * Make incremental sales by placing additional products or programs in designated stores * Maintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets, promotional ad signage (point of sale) and displays * Ensure each account meets defined merchandising standards, determine stores' product needs and transmit appropriate replenishment orders * Communicate and collaborate account activities to appropriate management * Utilize sales force automation tools * Work with customers to resolve A/R issues * Periodic lifting of 50+ pounds, bending, reaching, kneeling and light merchandising JOB REQUIREMENTS * High school diploma, GED or equivalent required * 1+ years of general work experience required * 1+ years of relevant sales experience preferred * Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills * Excellent planning and organization skills * Proficient computer application skills * Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines * Must own a reliable vehicle * Must be willing to travel within area (some overnight travel) BENEFITS Company Vehicle and Company Paid Expenses.
