Transport Services is seeking a successful professional with industry experience to add to our already outstanding sales force. The position is Outside Sales Representative for our Parts Division. A SUCCESSFUL OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Maintain regular appointments for face to face meetings with existing customers to stimulate sales and tend to any open issues.
• Research new sales prospects and engage/develop them in order to grow his/her book of business.
• Manage customer relationships to a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Eagerly and thoroughly learn our products and services to sell them most effectively.
• Become intimately familiar with each customer and prospect to optimize the service provided to their account.
• Study and understand market conditions and the relative strengths and weaknesses of competitors' products, services, policies, tendencies, pricing, etc.
• Organize business plans to consistently meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals.
• Promote the sale of all product lines.
• Obtain referrals for himself/herself, as well as for other sales colleagues.
• Obtain accurate information required to prepare written quotations or orders.
• Work with business partners like suppliers, as well as internal resources like Parts Operations personnel, Accounting and Management to facilitate orders.
• Disciplined post-sale customer follow up to ensure we've met or exceeded customer expectation.
• Deliver parts to his/her customers.
• Proactively report the progress of open opportunities and activity to management through our CRM database and bi-weekly Sales meetings.
• Promote and contribute to a working atmosphere across all divisions that results in maintaining strong cooperation, efficiency, and teamwork. REQUIREMENTS OF AN OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE:
• Solid base of knowledge and experience with semi-trailer and/or truck parts. (Preferred, but not required)
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A natural ambition to continuously increase sales from both new and existing customers.
• The discipline to use business processes to achieve desired results.
• A valid driver's license and driving record in good standing.
• Willing to travel daily within his/her territory in Central Ohio.
• Outside sales experience. (Preferred, but not required)
