Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Generator Sales Consultant to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of generator products and services, coupled with exceptional communication and negotiation skills to drive sales and foster lasting customer relationships. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, including businesses, organizations, and individuals, to assess their power needs and recommend tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Identify and prospect potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals. * Conduct thorough needs assessments and site evaluations to understand customers' power requirements and recommend suitable generator solutions. * Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our generator products and services. * Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and project managers, to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and exceptional customer service. * Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to effectively position our products and differentiate our offerings in the market. * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals. * Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate accurate sales reports for management review. Qualifications: * Proven track record of success in generator sales or a similar technical sales role. * Strong knowledge of generator products, including propane, natural gas, and standby generators, as well as associated accessories and services. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical information in a clear and understandable manner. * Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers to effectively close sales. * Results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software. * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
