We have an exciting opportunity as an Assistant Property Manager supporting the Property Manager in day to day operations of our student housing properties in East Lansing. The candidate must be able to effectively provide top-notch customer service and have great attention to detail. Experience with Rent Manager property management software or industry related property management software is preferred, but we will train the right person! Duties: * Collection of rents and bank deposits; reducing delinquencies. 7 day notices and evictions * Resolving customer complaints quickly - our greatest assets are our current residents. * Inputting utility charges on resident accounts * set up vendors in the our software ensuring we receive their insurance and W9 * Assisting manager to follow invoice process coding and payment procedures. * Ensure all resident accounts have the correct charges Qualifications/Requirements: - High School Diploma or Equivalent (those with some college preferred) - Must have clean driving record, pass background check, and drug and physical check for the position. - Minimum of 1 year of Property Management experience required - Excellent customer service & positive team-first attitude - Self-starter and a great work ethic - Must own vehicle - Experience with Rent Manager/Property management software is appreciated - Must live within 20 minutes of East Lansing Salary: $50,000-$55,000 based on experience + commission and bonus structure Benefit Package : - Health insurance, PTO and paid vacation, performance-based bonuses, paid holidays, and sales/leasing commissions Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
