Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include processing transactions, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. A successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others. Duties * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience. * Process customer transactions accurately using the cash register. * Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. * Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. * Assist in stocking shelves and ensuring product availability. * Perform product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding of merchandise. * Upsell products by effectively communicating their benefits to customers. * Supervise junior staff members when necessary, fostering a collaborative team environment. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately. * Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse customer base. * Experience in supervising or leading teams is beneficial but not required. * Strong communication skills are necessary to engage effectively with customers and colleagues. * A willingness to learn about products and services to provide informed recommendations.
