Duties and Responsibilities

:

• Driver/Merchandiser: Responsible for running routes and filling in when drivers and merchandisers are on vacation
• Assist in building displays, loading trucks, merchandising and delivering product within market region
• Perform market checks (Rotating product, delivering according to schedule, removing out of date inventory, shelf integrity, etc.)
• Warehouse and vehicle maintenance (ex: Vehicle washing, interior cleaning, arranging appointments for oil changes, tire rotations, clean warehouses, etc.)
• Take inventory and deliver out of date product from warehouses. Assist with stale sales in the Nebraska City market.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned. We service accounts throughout the Southeast NE/Southwest IA regions. This position will provide support to distributors within the region.

Minimum Qualifications

:

• Ability to secure and maintain a valid driver's license and auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws
• Previous route delivery, direct store delivery (DSD), stocking, merchandising, retail management and/or customer service experience

Requirements

• Must have the ability to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach
• Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
• Work environment can be loud; employee is exposed to the outside weather conditions during deliveries This position is 40 hours per week. Must be able to adhere to a scheduled start time based on the business needs. You may be required to start earlier to hit early morning door times while filling in for a vacation driver. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.95 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
