Steven Singer Jewelers, a renowned jewelry retailer with a national market reach, is seeking a motivated and experienced Jewelry Sales Professional to join our team. As a sales team member, you will be responsible for end-to-end sales processes in our flagship location in Center City, Philadelphia. Responsibilities: * Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their jewelry purchasing journey. * Utilize product knowledge to guide customers in selecting the perfect piece of jewelry to meet their preferences, needs, and budget. * Conduct product demonstrations and explain the features, quality, and value of various jewelry items, including engagement rings, loose diamonds, fashion pieces and other accessories. * Assist customers with custom jewelry orders, ensuring their specific requirements are met and communicating with our in-house design team as needed. * Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and requests, providing accurate and timely information to build trust and establish long-term relationships. * Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, utilizing our point-of-sale system and adhering to all company policies and procedures. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new product releases, and competitor offerings, continually expanding product knowledge to better serve customers. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive and cohesive work environment. * Participate in sales meetings, trainings, and workshops to enhance sales skills and stay informed about company promotions and marketing initiatives. * Work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays, to accommodate customer needs and maximize sales opportunities. Qualifications: * Previous experience in sales, preferably in the jewelry or luxury retail industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with customers effectively. * Passion for jewelry and a keen eye for aesthetics, recognizing the value and beauty of different designs and styles. * Energetic and self-motivated, with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. * Excellent problem-solving skills, able to address customer concerns and find suitable solutions. * Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in handling transactions and maintaining inventory records. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive work culture and fostering a supportive environment. * Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other relevant software applications. * Flexibility to work on Saturdays and accommodate occasional evening hours or special events. * Extensive knowledge of various types of jewelry, diamonds, and precious metals, along with an understanding of jewelry appraisal and grading is nice to have but not required.
