Job Description

Midwestern Pet Foods is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to work with a regional team to grow our pet food brands and brand awareness. A successful team member must have strong negotiation skills, excellent communication and the determination to continually increase sales. The preferred location is the Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas area. Approximately 75% - 80% overnight travel. Candidate should reside in Omaha, NE area or Kansas City, KS area.

Responsibilities

:

• Meet and exceed sales goals and objectives
• Develop a thorough understanding of Midwestern Pet Foods products, market conditions, and retailer strategies to maximize sales
• Build strong relationships and offer exceptional support to our retailers and customers
• Develop and execute innovative/creative sales strategies
• Manage company tools and resources effectively to deliver maximum results
• Professional represent Midwestern Pet Foods and brands Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• 3+ years' experience sales, pet foods sales experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective presentation skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Computer/mobile technology proficient
• Valid driver's license, presentable transportation and insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
