Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing processes and ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of leasing regulations, and the ability to effectively manage customer relationships. Duties * Conduct property tours for potential tenants, showcasing available units and amenities. * Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. * Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and renewals using property management software such as OneSite. * Handle inquiries from prospective tenants and provide exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process. * Assist in resolving conflicts and addressing tenant concerns in a timely manner. * Collaborate with facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations. * Perform data entry tasks related to tenant information and lease agreements, ensuring all files are organized and up-to-date. * Stay informed about Section 8 housing regulations and assist eligible applicants in navigating the leasing process. Skills * Proficiency in OneSite or similar property management software is preferred. * Strong customer relationship management skills to foster positive interactions with tenants. * Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations to ensure compliance in all leasing activities. * Excellent conflict management abilities to effectively address tenant issues. * Sales skills to promote available properties and close lease agreements successfully. * Familiarity with facilities management practices to coordinate maintenance requests efficiently. * Legal administrative skills for handling lease documentation accurately. * Strong data entry capabilities with attention to detail for maintaining organized files.
