Job Title: Production Installer Job Overview: The Production Installer is responsible for the hands-on installation of residential standby generator systems. This role includes generator placement, site preparation, basic plumbing work, and assisting with overall installation tasks to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. Prior experience in plumbing is required, as many installations involve connecting gas lines and working with utility hookups. The Production Installer works as part of a field crew and is expected to maintain a professional, safety-focused attitude at all times. Key Responsibilities: * Install standby home generators and related components according to company standards and manufacturer specifications * Run and connect gas lines (natural gas or propane) and perform all necessary plumbing work * Assist with site prep, including trenching, leveling, and installing generator pads * Support electrical team members during installation * Load/unload equipment and materials; keep work site organized and clean * Ensure all work meets local building and safety codes * Communicate clearly with team members and report job progress to supervisor * Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working order * Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE Requirements: * Minimum 1-2 years of plumbing experience (residential preferred) * Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor * Familiarity with basic hand and power tools * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation * Strong attention to detail and a "get-it-done-right" attitude * Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, squat, dig, and work on your feet for extended periods * Willingness to learn generator installation (training provided) Physical Demands: * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. * The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to answer phones and type on computer. * The employee must work outdoors in extreme heat and cold conditions * The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
