Full description of the position
It's in that spirit of quality and excellence that Wildflower Hotels is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dual Director of Sales to join our team in Temple, TX. The Dual Director of Sales will represent the Home2 Suites Temple and be tasked with the Pre-Opening efforts for the TownePlace Suites opening in Fall 2025. In this role, you will be responsible for helping grow the business by finding new opportunities, researching leads, establishing relationships with potential clients. In addition, you will present qualified solutions and offers to target customers from a total account management approach. The ideal candidate will work with other departments to provide the highest caliber customer experience and business development. Primary Responsibilities Include : Achieve a minimum of 90% of productivity goals and 100% of activity goals, as established by management Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads, and follow through to a successful agreement Understand the target markets including industry, company, project, and company contacts, and which market strategies can be used to attract clients Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned Have a strong understanding of company products, competition in the market, and positioning Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors Direct Sales Local account service and management New account sourcing and development Promptly follow up on all customer needs and inquiries efficiently and expediently Work with management team to create and implement a sales plan addressing revenue, customers, and the market for the segment led by the Regional Director of Sales Follow and promote hotel standards with guests and co-workers Monitor all day-to-day activities of direct reports Successful Candidates Must Have: * High school diploma or equivalent * 2+ years of hotel or event center sales or operations (or related field) * Previous Marriott experience a plus * Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office to effectively manage sales activities, create proposals and presentations * Confident and effective communication and presentation skills * Ability to engage effectively using social media platforms to project a positive, professional company image * Creative in handling solutions in various customer situations to create win-win situations for company and customer * Ability to prioritize and organize customer business leads and bookings in various stages of development * Knowledge of yield management * Ability to travel as needed to client locations within the market Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * Employee discount * Paid time off Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Ability to Commute: * Temple, TX 76504 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Temple, TX 76504: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Willingness to travel: * 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In personWildflower Hotels
