Position Overview: The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a key role in driving new business opportunities for our IT services by generating qualified leads and initiating conversations with potential customers. As an SDR, you will engage with decision-makers within organizations to identify their IT needs and position our solutions as a key part of their digital transformation. You will be part of a high-energy team and will collaborate closely with Account Executives and the marketing team to ensure smooth handoffs and efficient lead conversion. * Key Responsibilities: * Lead Generation: Conduct outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, social selling) to identify and qualify new business opportunities in the IT services sector. * Understand Client Needs: Engage with prospects to uncover their IT challenges, such as cybersecurity, managed services, IT infrastructure, and software development, and position how our services can help. * Sales Qualification: Qualify leads based on business requirements and budget, ensuring only the most promising opportunities are passed to the Account Executives. * CRM Management: Keep detailed records of leads, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system ensuring that no opportunities are routed to the appropriate AE. * Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives to schedule meetings, and follow-ups with prospects, ensuring a seamless transition of qualified leads. * Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest trends in IT services, including cloud solutions, managed IT, network security, and enterprise technology. * Market Research: Continuously monitor the IT services market to identify new opportunities, emerging technologies, and key industry players. * Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the marketing team to refine messaging, outreach campaigns, and content tailored to the IT services industry. Qualifications: * Experience: 1-2 years of sales or IT services experience in a B2B environment. Previous experience in selling IT solutions or services is a plus. * Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with the IT services industry, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, managed services, and IT infrastructure solutions. * Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms to business decision-makers. * Results-Oriented: Motivated by achieving sales goals and contributing to team success. * CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator. * Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to quickly identify customer needs and match them with the appropriate solutions. * Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Team Player: Collaborative attitude, working effectively within a sales team and across departments. * Career Aspiration - Seeking a career in Technology sales Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in or with IT services, technology consulting, or managed IT solutions. * Understanding of key IT services like network management, IT support, cloud solutions, or cybersecurity. * Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field. * Familiarity with sales development tools (CRM, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator.). * Benefits and Fun Stuff: StoredTech stands as an unparalleled haven for professional growth and well- being.
