Full description of the position

Sales Conduct Sales calls to existing customers Actively prospect new customers to develop assigned territory Utilize cold calling, scheduled visits, telephone and email communications Respond immediately to incoming inquiries Follow Up on all quotations and product demonstration in a timely manner Participate in trade organization and public events as well as company sponsored activities Perform machine demonstrations and product feature 'walk-around' Demonstrate well-developed negotiating and closing techniques Maintain availability and flexibility in order to respond immediately to customer needs Promote after-sale business, encourage repeat sales Product Knowledge Attend manufacturer sponsored training events Utilize printed and web based product and training resources to develop product knowledge Obtain information and support from product manufacturers as required for individual sales Develop familiarity with competitive products and competitive comparisons Demonstrate the ability to qualify customer products needs based on jobsite application Maintain an active awareness of current inventory, rental, and used units available for sale Administration Communicate information required to Sales Support personnel to prepare Quotation * Machine Specifications * Costing (Special service required, extra discounts allowed, etc.) * Finance Options Review all quotations and Sales Analysis worksheets for accuracy prior to presentation Work directly with customer to explain and obtain signatures on all documents Prepare and submit weekly call logs and expense reports electronically Obtain detailed customer contact information to submit for company database update Utilize all technology provided to maximize productivity General Actively review market conditions, opportunities, and market share results Work with Store Manager and/or General Manager on pricing and special approvals Communicate with others to ensure customer needs are satisfied Follow Up with each machine and rental customer to determine if additional support is required Utilize Product Support personnel to provide after sale follow up and to ascertain potential customer machine replacement needs Job Types: Full-time, Commission Application Question(s): * What is the highest level of education you have completed? * Are you willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations?
