We have an excellent opportunity within our sales team as a Custom Order Specialist. You will be the point-of-contact for our customers to provide sales and support of our architectural services. You need to be eager to learn, ready to provide top-notch customer service and sell our quality products and be ready for other tasks as assigned to accomplish the goals and objectives of the sales group. The position is full- time with benefits, plus an opportunity to earn monthly sales bonus! Responsibilities * Manage custom orders from inception to delivery, including working directly with clients to clarify technical specifications. * Review customer-submitted CAD drawings and collaborate with designers to ensure manufacturability. * Convert customer specifications into clear production instructions. * Generate quotes and timelines for custom orders. * Advise clients on material choices, finishes, and design options. * Provide feedback to customers on production timelines, delays, and technical challenges. * Ensure all custom orders meet quality standards and customer expectations. * Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate information is provided to clients and that all details are captured for production. * Input all communications and documents into the CRM system. Requirements: * Skills that will ensure your success: * Analytical and curious; asking the 5 W's * Dedicated to quality and customer service * Detailed and organized * Time management * Phone etiquette * Knowledge of computer software and functions Minimum Qualifications & Preferences * 2-4 years of experience in customer service, technical sales, or order management in a manufacturing environment. * Strong understanding of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) or the ability to learn quickly. * Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and specifications. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple custom orders at different stages of production. * Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality customer service. * Knowledge of the building supply, hardware and/or doors/windows industries.
