Counter Sales Representative for Plumbing Supply Wholesale Must have plumbing industry experience Job Summary: Our Counter Sales Representatives are in charge of making sure the needs of the customers are met. They handle customer orders, find solutions to their issues, and maintain a positive relationship between both parties for future business projects. Duties: - Enter sales orders for customers and decide on sale price and GP% - Answer customer inquiries about products and assist with purchase decisions. - Transfer material between branches for stock and consider timing - Inventory control, cycle counting and making required adjustments. - Work with AR department to collect timely payments from customers/accounts. - Work with vendors to get special pricing and terms for jobs. - Maintain a clean and organized sales counter area - Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed - Work to identify new product or market opportunities that will lead to increased sales and customer opportunities. Skills: - Knowledge of plumbing products - Ability to anticipate customers' needs - Excellent listening and verbal communication skills - Knowledge of stock management and inventory control - Ability to operate or learn the store's point of sale system. - Bilingual skills (Spanish) is a plus This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy providing exceptional customer service and have a passion for sales.
