Job Summary: Are you a skilled leasing professional who is ready to go to the next level? As the Assistant Manager--you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the leasing process, from marketing available units to screening potential tenants to finalizing lease agreements and collecting rents. Duties (overview): - Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including marketing available units, conducting property tours, following-up with prospects daily, processing applications, closing leases and renewals and collecting fees and rent. - Market weekly to businesses to build community relationships - Screen potential tenants by conducting background checks and verifying income. - Coordinate lease signings and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. - Address resident inquiries/concerns promptly and professionally. - Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities and resident interactions. - Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies. - Collaborate with team to ensure efficient operation of the property. - Enter and monitor work orders. - Issue notices, as required. - Plan resident events/activities. - Work closely with the community director in all things operationally, onsite. Qualifications: - Previous experience in conventional property management. - Proficiency in propware (IE Yardi). - Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and legal administrative procedures. - Over the top communication skills, customer service and phone etiquette! - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
