Pawtopia in Norman, OK is looking for one retail salesperson to join our team. We are located on 360 24th Ave Nw Ste 100. Our ideal candidate is attentive, self-starter, and reliable. Responsibility *Welcome customers by greeting them and offering them assistance. *Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items. *Advise customers by providing information on products. Must have knowledge or be willing to learn about pet nutrition. *Process payments by totaling purchases; process checks, cash, and store or other credit cards. *Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. *Use judgment to solve customer problems. *Maintain scheduling commitments *Maintain clean working environment Qualifications *Friendly and outgoing personality *Excellent verbal skills *Able to problem solve as issues arise *Must love pets. *Able to lift at least 50 lbs We are looking forward to receiving your application. Thank you. Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $12.00 - $14.00/hour. About PAWTOPIA: We are a local pet supply store in Yukon, OK. We opened October 15, 2015. For years our passion has been rescuing dogs and fostering for a local rescue. When the opportunity presented itself we opened our store and have worked on growing it ever since. We concentrate our efforts on providing the best holistic, natural foods at affordable prices to our community. We also look for unique toys, treats, supplements, and accessories. We host adoption events for local rescue groups. And we have a chew bar that is full of natural chews and a self serve bath area which both are very popular.
