Schuler Shoes is looking for a Sales Representative (Footwear) to join our team! Be part of a different kind of retail experience. Excellent earning potential! Seeking: Applicants who are passionate in their sales career and want to grow with a leading family & locally owned shoe retailer. Applicants must be available to work retail hours, including a variety of days, evenings and weekends. As a Sales Representative at one of our stores, you will go through an extensive training program that includes brand training, training on foot types, common foot issues, proper fitting and the essentials of our customer experience.

Responsibilities

will include, but are not limited to: - Provide outstanding customer service helping people meet their footwear needs. -Engage customers in conversation and assist in the understanding, demonstration, description, and selection of merchandise; Listen and respond to customer needs. -Maintain an active awareness of the merchandise available in the store. -Provide a positive shopping experience for our customers; building ongoing relationships; Handle all customer concerns in a proactive, positive manner. -Continued education on product details, including features and benefits. -Mandatory attendance at our monthly store meetings, these meetings last around one hour long, and we provide you with breakfast. All employees are to attend this once a month morning meeting.

Qualifications

: -Sales experience -Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, management, and coworkers. -Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. -Basic math skills, use a POS computer, telephone, written communication skills, and other retail equipment. -High level of initiative, and teamwork -Ability to bend, kneel, sit, squat, do stairs, and stand throughout the day & lift and carry multiple shoe boxes.

: At Schuler Shoes we offer an excellent pay plan. Our Footwear Consultants earn hourly versus commission, whichever is greater. Pay: $18.00 per hour or 9% commission. Job Types: Full-time (40 hours), Semi-FT (30 + hours, and Part-time (20 + hours) per week Hourly with no commission: Paid at $18.00 per hour Hourly paid commission: Our top Sales Representatives earn up to $30.00 per hour Company History: Since 1889, Schuler Shoes has used our success formula to service its many satisfied customers which is layered to create the ultimate customer experience.
