Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Retail Assistant Manager to join our team in a fast-paced toy and gift store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Retail Assistant Manager, you will support the store manager in daily operations, ensuring that the store runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of inventory control and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities * Assist in managing daily store operations, including staff supervision. * Oversee inventory control processes to ensure stock levels are maintained and organized. * Implement employee orientation programs to train new staff on policies and procedures. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. * Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment for customers. * Support the store manager in developing strategies to enhance sales and improve store performance. Qualifications * Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred. * Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. * Looking for a person who is upbeat, personable, creative and fun. * Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact professionally with customers and staff. * Looking for person who is good at math and comfortable at working with money and making change. * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. * A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
