Full description of the position

We are looking for an Leasing Assistant with excellent organizational skills to support our apartment community, in Suitland Maryland. As the Leasing Assistant your duties would be as follows: * Provide support to the Property Manager * Field all incoming phone calls, coordinate, and follow up on tenant maintenance requests * Assist with leases and HAP contracts * Maintain high customer service standards and tenant relations * Compile and type correspondence notices * Process mail Skills Required: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. * 2 years administrative/leasing experience * Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking a must * A keen attention to detail * Be able to work in a team environment and be punctual * Previous experience in property management * Knowledge of property management software * Knowledge of HUD recertifications required * Experience with Onesite Software helpful but not necessary Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off * Referral program Schedule: * 8 hour shift Ability to Commute: * Capitol Heights, MD 20743 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
