Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing property leasing processes, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining effective communication between property management and residents. This role requires a proactive approach to sales and customer service, with a strong emphasis on building relationships and negotiating lease agreements. Duties * Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting features and benefits of the units. * Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. * Utilize Yardi software for tracking applications, leases, and tenant information. * Coordinate with property maintenance teams to address tenant concerns and ensure timely resolution of issues. * Negotiate lease terms with potential tenants while adhering to company policies and legal requirements. * Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, including inquiries, applications, and lease agreements. * Assist in marketing efforts to promote available properties through various channels. * Provide administrative support by filing documents and maintaining organized records related to leasing activities. Experience * Previous experience in property leasing or facilities management is preferred. * Familiarity with Resman or similar property management software is a plus. * Strong sales skills with the ability to effectively negotiate terms with potential tenants. * Knowledge of property maintenance processes and legal administrative tasks related to leasing is beneficial. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with tenants and team members.
