Full description of the position

We are looking for an outgoing, positive, team player with a "can do attitude" to join our team. The Leasing Consultant would help coordinate marketing efforts, serve as the primary contact during the application process, and to all our residents. You would be a big part of the team effort in achieveing occupancy and lease up goals. Provide detailed phone presentation to prospective residents with the purpose of prescreening for qualifications and setting up appointments for leasing. Keep accurate and detailed records on all accounts and files. Screen and qualify prospective residents using the approved criteria. Prepare and execute leases/paperwork for prospects and residents. Handle resident questions, maintenance request, and any other daily request. Comply with Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations. Knowledgeable skills and abilities: Excellent social skills, self motivated, ability to multitask under pressure, organized, punctual, dependable, self starter, excellent phone skills, great communication through verbal and written skills, able to work in a stressful environment and meet deadlines, ability to work without direct supervision, reading comprehension for policies and procedures. Software used: Realpage, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Email Type: Full-time Pay: $14-16.00 per hour Qualifications: * High School or GED (General Education Diploma) * Computer literacy required * Previous leasing experience a plus * Excellent organizational skills and customer service mindset * A valid driver's license is required * Bi-lingual is a perk Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 am -6 pm (hours may vary to meet the business needs of the property).
