Made By The Water, LLC is looking for a HIGHLY motivated Area Sales Manager for the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area. Our sales manager is flexible, versatile, and resilient and continuously strives to build long-term relationships with our clients and distributors to promote our amazing products and deliver world-class service. The Area Sales Manager will work directly with the Territory Director, Growth team, Distributor partners, and customers to execute our brand strategies and develop strategies to acquire new clientele and partnerships. MBTW is a family of regional craft breweries in the U.S. Southeast region, including Oyster City Brewing Company in the Florida Panhandle, Central Florida, and Alabama; Catawba Brewing in North Carolina, and Palmetto Brewing in South Carolina. This collective of fantastic craft beer brands is supported today by 5 production breweries and 9 taprooms across 6 states. Currently ranked in the top 50 craft breweries in the U.S. based on volumes, our vision is to become the No. # 1 ranked craft brewery in the U.S. Southeast, as we continue to grow our footprint through new acquisitions of local brands serving local communities across the region. There is no better role than representing our loved brand in the craft beer industry. * The Details: * Present and sample accounts in a professional and concise manner * Find, build, and foster new relationships in Off and On-premises locations in network. * Conduct ride-along visits allowed with local distributing partners monthly. * Visit accounts with contacts made 12-15 times a day, four days a week. * Conduct beer tastings and events throughout the off/on-premises sectors throughout the month. * Maintain an active social media presence representing our brands and in coordination with the MBTW marketing team. * Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals as discussed with sales team leadership. * Maintain close relationships with Distributor contacts (i.e., craft manager, on-premises manager, off-premises manager) * Able to demonstrate experience in sales, persuasion, negotiating, and managing key accounts. * Facilitate growth in off-premise sector by working with Chains/key Accounts Managers. * Demonstrate a thorough understanding of applicable laws and regulations and company and distributor policies and procedures. * Always represent the company in an upstanding and professional manner * Facilitate solutions to customer issues and concerns. Requirements: * High school degree or equivalent required * Bachelor's degree in marketing, Management, or a similar field preferred * 2-4 years of industry-relative experience * Strong verbal and presentation skills * Background check required. * Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on occasion. * Overnight, Weekend and Travel are required.
