Duties * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. * Utilize upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities and increase average transaction value. * Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper use of the POS system. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product features, and store policies to assist customers effectively. * Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance on best practices in sales and customer service. * Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or follow-ups. * Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. * Assist in maintaining store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers. Skills * Proven sales experience with a strong ability to sell products effectively. * Proficiency in retail math to manage transactions and inventory accurately. * Experience with cash registers and POS systems is preferred. * Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases. * Strong phone etiquette for effective communication with customers over the phone. * Ability to supervise and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. * Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory tracking.
