Purvis Industries is looking for qualified Account Manager Trainee candidates to join our Sales & Service Management Trainee Program (SSMTP). The program starts in late May and is held in our Ft. Worth, TX, training center, lasting six months. There, you will gain hands-on training covering a multitude of product disciplines, including bearings, motors, power transmission, conveyor belting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and variable frequency drives, to name a few. Trainees will also learn effective sales approaches, time and territory management, cold calling skills, how to deliver professional presentations, develop sales plans, and effectively communicate the Purvis value proposition. Applicants should have one of the following: * A degree from a 2-year or 4-year accredited institution OR * A minimum of 5 years of experience working in plant maintenance or similar Applicants must be able to complete the six-month training in person at our Fort Worth location. Job locations vary after the completion of the program. While in the program, students will be paid a fixed salary and will receive medical and dental health benefits. Once students have completed the program and begin working as Account Managers, they will continue to receive medical and dental benefits. Salary will be based on compensation.
