Summary We are seeking a part time motivated Sales Associate to join our team at Home Source Furniture. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional customer service while showcasing our unique furniture collection. Your contributions will help us maintain our reputation for quality and style in home furnishings. Responsibilities * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. * Demonstrate product features and benefits through effective product demos. * Utilize POS systems for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently. * Manage inventory levels by restocking merchandise and maintaining organized displays. * Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. * Handle cash transactions responsibly while ensuring accuracy in cash handling procedures. * Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, fostering long-term relationships. Requirements * Proven experience in sales or retail environment preferred. * Strong communication skills with a focus on customer engagement. * Ability to demonstrate products effectively and engage customers in conversation. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. * Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required. * Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
