The Director of Business Development will be responsible for growing Kopplow's market share within San Antonio and surrounding communities. Our ideal candidate will have a proven record in growing revenue and market share with new customers and maintaining relationships with existing customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Will focus on developing our business with both new and existing clients. * A problem solver and solutions provider who excels at delivering world-class customer service to our clients. * Passion to drive sales growth and market share * Establish, develop and maintain positive business and client relationships. * Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects. * Coordinate submittals for RFP's and RFQ's to include sales, marketing and informational material. * Connect with clients through both warm and cold leads, prospecting, and industry networking. * Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments. * Will need to attend industry and client events and be engaged in the community. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: * Ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations tailored to the audience needs. * Working knowledge of CRM systems * Ability to build and cultivate productive professional relationships. * Proven track record of selling and negotiating. * Must be able to work independently and be highly self-motivated. * Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. * Must be able to attend events outside of the regular work schedule. MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, LICENSES and EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field, is required. * Minimum 5+ years of experience in Outside Sales/ Business Development in Construction or Real Estate. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. * Must have a valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
