Job Description Job Title: Sales Estimator Pay Range: 55-100K Summary: Responsible for preparing cost estimates for quotation and writes/reviews work orders from orders processed by sales by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Prepares estimates, written quotations, work orders and any related data entry required. * Compiles cost estimate list for the manufacturing of customer parts, assembly and/or services requested for quote to include: * type of material * tools or fixtures * manufacturing activities * subcontractors * Itemizes tools, fixtures and outside services required. * Conducts special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reduction when required. * Offers technical assistance when necessary to sales and customers. * Performs manufacturing functions if necessary. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Prior estimator/work order writing experience helpful.
