Director of Client Development * Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite, Hybrid, or Remote) * Compensation: $115K base + commission (flexible for highly qualified candidates) * Travel: Approximately 40% required We are currently sourcing candidates for a Director of Client Development opportunity with a leading global experience design firm. This is a high- impact strategic sales leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and deepening client relationships across a diverse portfolio that includes experiential marketing, tradeshow exhibits, branded environments, and digital activations. Preferred candidates will have a strong background in the tradeshow or exhibit house industry, with experience selling creative and custom-built environments. Those with proven success in experiential or creative agency environments will also be considered. Role Overview The Director of Client Development will lead revenue-generating initiatives by building and expanding relationships with both new and existing clients. You will serve as a strategic partner and brand ambassador, working closely with internal teams and executive leadership to deliver impactful solutions. Key Responsibilities * Drive business development efforts across multiple verticals--tradeshows, experiential campaigns, branded spaces, and digital environments * Actively source, pursue, and close new business opportunities from both warm and cold leads * Develop and lead customized proposals, scopes of work, staffing plans, and schedules * Maintain and grow relationships with senior-level decision-makers and client stakeholders * Collaborate with internal teams (creative, production, strategy) to ensure solutions align with client goals and expectations * Provide leadership in client meetings and presentations, positioning the firm as a best-in-class partner * Track and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics * Mentor junior team members and support cross-functional team alignment Candidate Profile * 5+ years in a client development, business development, or sales role within the tradeshow, exhibit house, experiential marketing, or creative agency space * Demonstrated success in selling complex, creative solutions--especially tradeshow booths and digital activations * Strong ability to cultivate executive-level client relationships and drive long-term growth * Experience with Salesforce and MS Office; highly organized with attention to detail * Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting to internal and external stakeholders Core Competencies * Strategic Sales & Business Development * Relationship Management & Executive Communication * Industry Knowledge: Exhibits, Events, Digital & Experiential * Collaborative Leadership & Team Alignment * Proposal Development & Negotiation Company Culture & Values The company is built on the principles of creativity, collaboration, integrity, and excellence.
